Microbial growth in cooling water systems, if uncontrolled, causes fouling, decreased heat transfer efficiency or reduced water flow (plugged tube) and promote metal corrosion. GREEN SX 801 exhibits superb performance in resolving all of these difficulties.

<<Method for application>>
■Open recirculating systems
- Initially dose to a concentration of 400g/m3 of water retain (or the total volume of the system). Continue this initial dosing until the slime disappears.
- As a rule of thumb, intermittently dose to a concentration of 100~300 g/m3 of water retained (or the total volume of the system). This concentration should vary with the severity of microbial fouling.
- The initial and intermittent dosing would better be timed just before any shutdown of the system.
- Dose neat or diluted appropriately by means of a chemical feed pump. The duration of each dosing should as a general rule at least 5 minutes to one hour. The chemical feed pump should be resistant to acids, and a storage tank(s) made of plastics should be used for GREEN SX 801.
- When no chemical feed pump is used, feed neat (undiluted) at a point such as the cooling tower pit where the water is stirred vigorously (one dosing at a time).
- In the case of small cooling towers, feed neat at the cooling tower pit as follow:

- Store in a cool and dark place to avoid direct sunlight.
- Wear chemical splash goggles (to protect eyes) and impervious gloves or the like (to protect skin) when handling.
- Before handling, be sure to read “Material Safety Date Sheet” on GREEN SX 801.

- In case of contact with skin and / or clothing, flush with plenty of water without delay. If necessary, see a physician.
