Permitted TDS in Vietnam will not exceed 170 ppm for drinking water and should not exceed 400 ppm for drinking water, but if 500 ppm or more, the country cannot use it. Therefore, users are very interested in using water with low TDS.
However, too low TDS is not a good thing because a low indicator means a clean water source. That the water source is too clean will no longer have mineral content. If you use this water for a long time, it will not be good for your health.
If the index is around 170, it will be both beneficial and harmful. At this index, water will not contain pollutants but contains beneficial minerals such as Salt, Calcium, Sodium, etc. Therefore, TDS is not the cause of water contamination.
