GREEN EX960 is chemical for boiler water treatment, which also contains neutralizing corrosion inhibitor for afterboiler section in one single composite formulation. The corrosion inhibitor contained in this chemical is TANNIC ACID, which is a safe substance compared with others such as hydrazine. Excellent dispersant is also contained, which effectively inhibits scale formation and disperses calcium or ferric oxide sludges.

TANNIC ACID effectively inhibits corrosion inside the boiler by the following three functions:
NEUTRALIZING AMINES contained in this chemical effectively inhibits corrosion in the afterboiler section, by preventing the pH drop of condensate caused by carbon dioxide formed in the boiler.
The dispersant contained in this chemical effectively inhibits scale or deposit formation, which consequently prevents secondary corrosion occurring under the deposit.
As tannic acid do not produce any soluble solid, electric conductivity of boiler water do not increase like sodium sulfite. As a result, the blowdown rate is reduced, together with the amount of heat loss.
Safety of the chemical is improved, as TANNIC ACID is contained, which is a natural compound known as constituent of tea.
