In case water treatment was insufficient or heat load was large due to severe operation, corrosion or scale formation would be promoted to form rusts and iron or calcium scales in heat exchangers, chillers or boilers. This will lead to the lowering of heat exchange efficiency, plugging of piping, secondary corrosion under deposits and other troubles.

GREEN WX540 is a cleaning agent, which enables easy removal of rusts and iron or calcium scales, to keep heat exchangers and piping clean, and to save large amount of energy.

<<Procedure for application>>

Minimize the total volume of holding water in the cooling water system.
Dose GREEN WX540 to the dosage level of 10-20% of the total water volume. 10-20% is the standard level, but the dosage level should be adjusted according to the amount of scales.
Warm the cleaning solution up to 50℃ if possible. The chemical is more effective at higher temperature.
Circulate the solution with a pump for 3-6 hours.
After the cleaning has finished, extract the cleaning solution into a tank and at the same time supply the makeup water. Continue until water becomes clean.
Dose GREEN NX700 in order to neutralize the cooling water system. The dosage amount should be approximately 1/10 the amount of WX540 dosed for cleaning operation. Warm the cleaning solution up to 60℃ if possible.
Circulate the solution with a pump for 0.5-1 hour.
Discharge the solution from the system and at the same time supply the makeup water. This solution of GREEN NX700 may be reused for neutralization of the cleaning solution extracted in a tank previously.
The cleaning solution extracted in a tank must be neutralized to pH 5.8-8.6 with GREEN NX700 before discharge.
