1. Supply water quality and Water treatment in Vietnam
Supply water quality varies in areas, water treatment is different at water quality which each areas have:
- Northern area Conductivity, Hardness, M-Alkalinity and Silica are all relatively high, it has serious scale formation tendency. To prevent scale problem, chemical treatment is applied, but saving supply water is required at the same time.
- Middle area Hardness and M-Alkalinity are rather high, but lower Silica is expected higher concentration, which gives saving supply water. Sea coast area has serious salinity problem, supply water contains high chloride sometimes, it gives high corrosion risk, strong corrosion inhibitor and minimizing blow control are required.
- Southern area Some areas has very high Conductivity and M-Alkalinity, but main areas are rather good quality. High concentration operating can be achieved, but water shows corrosion tendency. Proper corrosion inhibitor and Microbiologic treatment are necessary.

Chemical dosing pump can only dose chemical for something like flow rate, pH, ORP, etc., needs “Brain” for control dosing and manage whole system. That is “Water Treatment Controller”.
